It's been one long week at work. Unfortunately for me, I'm still here, and have to hang around while other people test the network I've been working on.

A fat guy in New York City has filed a lawsuit against four fast food corporations because their food helped him get fat. Apparently his poor diet, and lack of any physical activity had nothing to do with it.

Thanks for the link Mark.

Well because once again Linksys didn't call me back, I once again called them back. It would now appear that they admit that they A) can't find any of my paperwork, and B) can't find the package I sent them with my wireless network card, and reciept. At least I am able to print off a new copy of the reciept. Using my new Hewlett Packard officejet D135, I faxed over a copy of it, and they are going to ship out to me a brand new product tomarrow. Hopefully I'll get version 3.0 which came out about two weeks after I purchased version 2.5.

The clerks at the Hermitage, PA court took up a collection and paid my $0.40 fine. And thought it was recockulous that I even recieved a notice of a warrant of arrest over such a small fine. I asked if she could send me a reciept and she said she would.

I left the contractors working on my home, a voicemail earlier this morning that said in a nutshell that their work sucks, and they need to start over, do it right, and try harder this time. I have not heard back from them yet.

She's 122 years old, smokes, drinks coffee and likes a lot butter. She also isn't very particular about her diet.

Value City just made things right, and delivered my new bed without question to replace the one that was all scratched up. The same delivery guys came, and were shocked at the scratches on it. It probably was scratched at the warehouse, because it's not in their best interests to have to carry the same thing up and down the stairs twice.

Last night I was watching the NBC coverage of Red White 'trash' and Boom in downtown Columbus, Ohio. I managed to sit through about an hour of it, including part of the news broadcast afterwards. Numerous times they mentioned what July 4th stood for....Fallen fire fighters, troops overseas, the war on terror, blah blah blah. Not once did they mention that Independence Day is the national holiday of the United States of America commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Basicly the entire company failed to realize that July 4th is not the holiday, but Independence Day is the holiday, and it's the day that we told King Gerorge, and Merry Ole England to go pound sand.

Well as it turns out, the furnature installers badly scratched up my footboard to my new sleigh bed. However, I called up the store, and they said it would be no problem and they will bring me a new one, but it will take a week because it will have to ship from the factory in North Carolina. Good customer service in the event that a problem comes up, is a sure way to get repeat business from me. Something SONYstyle.com failed badly at.

My new bedroom suite is being delivered right now. I know that I measured, but everything sure looked smaller at the store. I'm glad I didn't buy that second nightstand!

WorldCom goes from bad to worse. "WorldCom said on Monday it could be delisted from the Nasdaq market on July 5 and that it had received notice from some of its lenders that it has defaulted and that they could demand immediate repayment." Not that this was unexpected.
